Power of Command
You are reading the weekly teaching/blog/article: EXCERPTS FROM THE PREACHING AND TEACHING OF PASTOR MIKE’S
You are welcome into God’s presence in Jesus’ .This week; I want to share with you the Power of Command.
Related Scriptures: Geneses 1:1-10 & 20-26; Job 22:28; & Psalm 81:10
In Genesis 1:3 God said, “Let there be Light”. It is a mystery why believers do not use the Word of God properly in order to maintain a victorious life. In order to do so, believers must simply do the same thing as God does. They must speak “audibly” to every issue of life with which they are confronted. In brief, believers must begin to:
- Command things to be removed or to come forth;
- Utilize the power of making decrees; and
- Take authority over every challenging situation.
We must understand the importance of the “Spoken Word” and the powerful effects and impacts that it can have in changing things on earth. For example, in Job 22:28 God says: Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways. This is the formula! So, use it! Here, God says if you decree something, two things will happen: 1) It shall be established unto thee; and 2) The light shall shine upon thy ways! With this in mind, I say “Every closed mouth is simply in the process of preparing the grave!” Next, in Psalm 81:10 the Lord says: I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide and I will fill it. Therefore, in order for things to change in your life, you must OPEN YOUR MOUTH and use the Word of God, just as He does! To this end, as you start opening your mouth to command and decree…you will see changes taking place in your life, in the lives of others, and all over the earth! This is what true believers should be doing…making a difference in their own lives, in the lives of others and all over the world!
What are you doing when you begin to utilize the power of commanding things?
1. You are obeying the word of God;
2. You put Angels in Action;
3. You are creating your desired expectations;
4. You remind God of His Word;
5. You are showing evidence that you believe God; and
6. You give God a means to perform and confirm His word.
In order to take authority over challenging situation, you need God’s grace to be able to ignite the commanding power. If you are ready for this grace to be released to you, could you please say this prayer and mean it from your heart:
“Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me my sins and cleanse me with Your Blood. Deliver me from sin and satan to serve the living God. I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Make me a child of God today. Thank you for accepting me into your kingdom”
Till I come your way next week.
