Nature, Purpose, Pledge, Mission, Vision, Motto, Goals & Objectives and Church Commitment

The Dominion Youth Ministry is designed, specifically for the purpose of catering to the various needs of our youth. In Exodus 10:9, Moses stated how the young and old alike should celebrate the Lord. (Exodus 10:9 – Moses answered: “We will go with our young and our old, with our sons and our daughters, and with our flocks and herds, because we are to celebrate a festival to the LORD.” Moreover, God has given parents and leaders commandments on how to provide biblical instruction to our youth. This is stated in Deuteronomy 6:6-8 – These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Equally important, the Apostle Paul provides a word of advice as to how our youth should conduct themselves as good role models and examples to others in life. This instruction is found in Timothy 4:12 where he was giving advice to his young sons in the faith: He said, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity”.

For these reasons, we believe that our youth must be actively engaged in their stewardship and they must give their hearts to God, whole-heartedly. In addition, they must be knowledgeable about the divine responsibilities of growing up and they must be mindful of the type of friendships that they establish. For all of our youth, these principles are critical to fulfilling their God-given potential and destiny. In essence, our youth must become responsible young people not only in the body of Christ; but, also in their families, in their communities, and in society, at large.

Church Commitment
In order to ensure that the above goals and objectives are met effectively for our youth, the church will incorporate the Biblical dynamics of principles that support its overall vision and mission. These dynamics include; but, are not necessarily limited to the following disciplines of personal and spiritual development that meet the needs of our youth:
